Story Time at Home: Winter

Welcome to Story Time at Home! Each month we will search high and low for great books and songs for babies and toddlers and PreK to third graders. In celebration of the dropping temperatures, cozy fires, and snuggling up, we will reading books about winter this month.
Below we’ve listed our favorite tales for babies to toddlers and PreK to third graders, along with finger plays, songs, and a craft for each age group.
And if you want to learn more about winter, stop by your local library branch or check out mytpl.org for access to materials.
We hope you enjoy your story time at home and can’t wait to see you all back at the library!

Winter Tree Craft for All Ages
This winter tree painting is a great craft for all ages. For babies and toddlers they can use their hands and finger paints to add the snow. For older children they can use paint brushes, pom poms, cotton swabs, and even toothpicks!
