The Creative Lab is a free, library-operated workspace for patrons 15 and older, offering access to tools, materials, and machines to help bring creative visions to life. Current equipment includes 3D printers, cutting machines, sewing machines and a serger, a Glowforge laser cutter, lightboxes, a laminator, and assorted handicraft and art tools.

Class Descriptions
Intro to Cricut
Learn how to navigate the Cricut Design Space and use a Cricut machine for all of your design cutting needs including cardstock, vinyl, and fabric. Available machines include the Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore Air 2.
Beginning Sewing
Basic stitching techniques and project planning are taught on Brother CS7000i computerized machines.
Glowforge Demo
Learn about the Glowforge Pro—a laser cutter/engraver available for patron projects. To get prior approval for Glowforge projects, please use the “Contact Us” form above and provide as much detail as possible.
Ongoing Programs
Starting Stitches – Every Thursday, 10 am – 12 pm
An educational and social group focused on individual and peer-taught hobbies related to sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch, knitting, and crocheting.
Open Lab Hours – Every Thursday, 5-8 pm
The lab will be available by reservation for patrons to work on self-guided projects on the provided sewing, serging, and Cricut machines under the supervision of the lab coordinator. To reserve a machine, please use the “Contact Us” form above.
