BTS

Seven Essentials

So you’ve probably heard of BTS. If you’re wanting to get into them but don’t even know where to begin, don’t worry! I’ve got you. There’s tons of content out there since they debuted in 2013, so here are seven of their music videos (along with extra recommendations) you can watch to get you started.

Dynamite

First up, we’ve got Dynamite, one of their latest releases. It’s a disco pop, upbeat, super fun song and video. This is a great place to start since it’s their first all English release, so if you’re still not quite sold on the whole k-pop thing, it’s still a fun video to watch and a great feel-good song to add to your playlist!

If you like this, check out Life Goes On from the same album.

ON Kinetic Manifesto Film

Next up is a special version of their early 2020 release ON. The vibe is pretty different from Dynamite, but if you like good dancing and choreography then you’ll love this! The choreography is some of their most eye catching and intense, sure to hook anyone who watches it.

If you like this, check out the original ON video and Black Swan from the same album.

Boy with LUV

This is one of the cutest music videos in existence, trust me. If you liked Dynamite, you’ll love this just as much. It’s fun, it’s cute, and it’s their second music video to reach 1 billion views, so obviously it’s just a good time for everyone involved.

If you like this, check out Persona from the same album.

DNA

Next is DNA, a personal favorite. It’s another upbeat track that helped skyrocket them to fame especially in the US. Once again, if you like dance-heavy content like ON, then this music video will definitely be for you! The choreography is some of their best and it’s just a fun video to watch every time.

If you like this, check out Mic Drop and Airplane pt.2 from the same album.

Fake Love

Another hit that helped get them to where they are today, this is definitely one of their most different and eye-catching videos. The vibe is a little different from the other stuff on this list, but that’s what makes it so good. They can really pull off just about any look! This is another one with really great choreography too.

If you like this, check out Idol from the same album.

Blood Sweat & Tears

Next up we’ve got Blood Sweat & Tears, another absolute favorite that’s my go to recommendation for people to watch. This era is when they really started to switch things up, and it shows in the outfits, choreography, and overall look that they have going on in this video. It’s so good! If you’ve made it this far, I think you’ll notice how their stuff started to evolve around this point.

If you like this, check out Not Today and Spring Day from the same album.

Run

Last but not least, here’s Run. This music video is so much fun to watch, it’s just the boys going out doing random stuff. It’s one of their earlier videos, and still one of their most popular singles to date. This one’s a little different since there’s no choreography, but I think you’ll enjoy it just as much as the others!

If you like this, check out Fire and Dope from the same album.
