4 Mother’s Day Card Ideas
Mother’s Day is coming up, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate all the moms in your life! Here are some ways to make a mother feel special on this Mother’s Day.
Handprint Card
What you will need:
- White paper (cardstock works best)
- Crayons
- Scissors
Instructions
- Fold a piece of white paper in half
- Trace your hand on the edge that is folded
- Cut the hand tracing out leaving the folded edge uncut
- Color the hands and decorate the outside
- Write a message inside
“Showering You With Love” Card
What you will need:
- Colored and white paper
- A cupcake liner
- Scissors
- Crayons
- Glue
Instructions:
- Fold a piece of paper in half.
- Cut your cupcake liner in half, and if you do not have one, cut a semicircle out of paper
- Glue the cupcake liner to the center of the page, and using a black marker or crayon draw a “J” to make the handle of the umbrella
- Cut miniature hearts out of colored paper and glue them around the page
- Taking a black marker or crayon write the message: “Showering you with Love”
- Decorate the outside of the card, and write a message on the inside
Flower Card
What you will need:
- Colored or white paper
- Crayons
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- Fold a piece of paper in half.
- Using another sheet of paper, out four large hearts and one small heart
- Color the hearts, and glue the four large hearts to the center of the page with the points of the hearts facing one another in the center
- Take the small heart and glue it in the center of the four large hearts to create a flower
- Decorate the outside and write a message on the inside of the card
Balloon Bouquet Card
What you will need:
- Colored or white paper
- Crayons
- Scissors
- A black marker
- Glue
Instructions:
- Cut out 15 small hearts and color them different colors
- Write one letter on each heart to spell out “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY”
- Glue the hearts onto the top of the page
- Taking a black marker, draw a line coming from each heart all the way down towards the bottom of the page
- Decorate the card, and write a message on the back
