Three Strawberrylicious Desserts

Strawberries are a classic springtime fruit. They are sweet and tart, and they always have a beautiful red color to them. Especially during April, the freshest and most delicious strawberries can be found in vendors’ stands locally. With all these strawberries laying around, what better way to use them than to make some fruity desserts perfect for the April weather.

Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

This delicious, frozen treat is both simple to make and oh so yummy. All it takes are some frozen strawberries, yogurt, lemon, and honey. You could use any fruit you would like with this recipe, and you could even replace the honey with a different sweetener if you choose. It is perfect for a warm day when you need a little pick-me-up. You can scoop it like ice cream, or you even put it in a mold and make popsicles out of it.

Candied Strawberries

Candied strawberries are a crunchy sweet treat for when you are craving a little sugar. They serve as wonderful gifts to friends and family as well. It is a simple recipe that is not hard to follow. This is a perfect way to use fresh strawberries.

Strawberry Shortcake

This light and fluffy dessert is a classic way to use fresh strawberries. It is the best of all worlds with the spongey pound cake, fluffy whipped topping, and the sweet strawberries. What could be better for a tasty end to a nice spring dinner.
