Summer Reading Begins May 27!

Earn Rewards and Prizes for Reading!
This summer, come and Level Up at the Library! Join us for fun, creativity-themed crafts, engaging story times, exciting programming, talented performers, and even some take-home crafts while supplies last. Don’t forget to check out our library calendar for all the event details. We can’t wait to see you there!
All ages are welcome to sign up and participate in the Summer Reading Program. Read for at least 20 minutes a day, track your progress using the printed game board reading log, and claim a prize for every 5 days you read!

For every five days of reading completed, participants will receive an entry for the end-of-summer prize raffle. Prizes will be awarded from each of our seven library branches.
- Birth to Kindergarten winners will receive a ticket for free admission to the Audubon Institute.
- 1st to 6th grade winners will receive a bicycle and helmet, generously donated by the Kiwanis Club and friends of the Terrebonne Parish Library. This prize will also include a safety demonstration by the Houma Police Department.
- Teen and adult winners will receive a gift bag.
Summer Feeding Program
Children attending select story times at Terrebonne Parish Library branches will receive snack packs to enjoy during their activities. Dates will be announced soon. This program is brought to you by the Terrebonne Parish Library and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Fun for all ages at the library!
Check out our list of special performers for the summer including magicians, circus performers, puppetry, musicians and exotic animal shows. All performances are free and open to the public.
